The investment catergory does fall within this, but I provide it separate for those who just want to focus on that
A financial advisor may help look over investments, while a wealth management consultant will be able to look at your life holistically to enhance all aspects
Have you ever driven on a more expensive side of town and seen "Wealth Management" Buildings?
I used to drive to the north side of town, seeing extravagant restaurants and houses that make me think about the lifestyles of the inhabitants. Often there would be a Wealth Management firm in those areas and this always struck me as most interesting. My side of town had restaurants, it had houses, even though they were not as nice we still had the same things. However, financial and wealth management buildings were the one thing I noticed exclusive to the wealthy sides of town. I thought it could be that they are locating their business around those who would most likely be customers. But directly or indirectly, this helps keep ones in the hands used to hold the most of it.
I do not believe that wealth is something that only a select few have. We all have wealth and we all deserve to get assistance in growing it for our sake and for our legacy. My journey to build my wealth through investments and capital growth initiatives began graduating and finding myself with tens of thousands of dollars in debt. I felt as though my life after school would consist of gaining a paycheck and transferring it all to loan payments, rent, food, and a vacation once a year. I had an enlightenment in March of 2020 that lead me to the knowledge that building yourself up does not happen only at times of abundance and privilege. No matter one's financial situation or how adverse one is to the idea of investing or developing their finances, we all have opportunities for growth.
